Ingredients
Chicken Breasts, 2 lbs, boneless and skinless
Fresh Spinach, 5 oz, roughly chopped
Heavy Cream, 16 fl oz (473 ml)
Cream Cheese, 8 oz, softened
Garlic, 3 cloves, minced
Parmesan, 1/2 cup, grated
Salt, 1 tsp
Black Pepper, 1 tsp
Instructions
Place chicken in the slow cooker.
In a bowl, mix cream cheese, heavy cream, minced garlic, salt, and pepper until smooth.
Pour the mixture over the chicken.
Cook on low for 4-6 hours, until chicken is tender.
Add spinach and parmesan cheese in the last 30 minutes of cooking.
Stir to wilt the spinach and combine.
Notes
Use chicken thighs for richer flavor; ensure they are halal.
Substitute kale for spinach if preferred; remove tough stems.
No need to sear chicken before adding to the slow cooker.
Let the dish rest for 5-10 minutes before serving for juicier chicken.
Adjust seasoning to taste.
