- 1 cup organic low-fat cottage cheese
- 2–3 tablespoons organic cold-pressed flax oil
- 1–2 tablespoons organic ground flaxseeds
- 1–2 tablespoons raw organic honey
- 1/2 cup fresh organic berries
- 2–3 tablespoons organic nuts and seeds
- 2–4 tablespoons filtered water, optional
- Pinch of sea salt, optional
Instructions
- Measure 1 cup organic low-fat cottage cheese into a medium mixing bowl.
- Remove the organic cold-pressed flax oil from the refrigerator.
- Check that the flax oil smells fresh and nutty.
- Grind the whole organic flaxseeds immediately before using.
- Measure the berries, nuts, and seeds and keep them separate.
- Pour the cold-pressed flax oil directly over the cottage cheese.
- Stir slowly for 2-3 minutes until the flax oil is completely incorporated.
- Add the freshly ground flaxseeds.
- Continue stirring until the mixture is smooth and uniform.
- Drizzle the raw organic honey over the mixture.
- Fold in the fresh berries gently.
- Sprinkle the nuts and seeds over the top.
- Add a pinch of sea salt if desired.
- Add filtered water 1 tablespoon at a time if the mixture is too thick.
- Serve immediately for the best freshness and texture.
Notes
Use organic cold-pressed flax oil stored in a dark glass bottle in the refrigerator. Grind flaxseeds fresh, mix slowly for full emulsification, and consume the recipe immediately after assembly.
